Job Description

Augusta Aviation, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Detailer to join our team in a full-time hourly position. The ideal candidate has a flexible schedule, is safety and detail oriented, and works well as part of a team. While detailing experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of both company and customer aircraft and other equipment.
  • Buffing surfaces as required, polishing painted and aluminum surfaces, cleaning and polishing wood, metal hardware and fabrics, sanitizing lavatory surfaces.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Must be comfortable and physically able to work in tight spaces, various climates, weather conditions, on ladders, and work stands at various heights.
  • Attention to detail is a must. Interior and exterior must be cleaned to a high quality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to swift changes in schedules in aircraft cleaning.
  • Ability to safely lift 30 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of this position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time hourly position

 

Pay: Starting pay dependent upon experience, $12-18 an hour

 

Work Location: In-Person at Augusta Aviation
