Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Test Engineer who will be part of the Hardware Test Engineering team focused on next generation robotic system design. The electrical test engineer will design, execute, and document testing of electrical systems and components. This will include fixture design, schematic analysis, and test automation to maximize efficiency. You will be responsible for developing test strategies and solutions for new products, with a focus on automation, cycle time reduction, and improving product quality.

Key job responsibilities
You will work with hardware development, regulatory & compliance, program management, and other hardware test team members. The ideal candidate will draw upon electrical engineering experience, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems. The candidate should be open to new challenges, strong at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed and a great team player. Candidate should drive continuous process improvement, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.

About the team
The Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for testing any new prototype/pre-production hardware designs within Amazon's robotic solutions. We validate that any design meets our high standards for quality, efficiency, and most of all, safety.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Junior year or beyond in electrical engineering program
- Solid understanding of principles and concepts in electrical engineering
- Bench top electrical debug tool experience
- Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) role for a 6 month time period from July/August -December 2025
