Job Title: Automotive Technician/Mechanical Claims Specialist

Location: Earth City, MO 63045

Duration: 6 -12 Months (Possible Conversion)

Work Type: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Claims Specialist to join our customer support team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on automotive mechanic experience who are looking to transition into an office-based environment. You will use your technical expertise to evaluate and process mechanical claims while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, investigate, and process mechanical claims using vehicle repair knowledge.
• Communicate with customers and repair facilities via phone and email.
• Provide clear explanations and empathetic support while resolving claim-related requests.
• Maintain accurate claim records in company systems.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold service standards.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes with ability to explain technical details.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to navigate multiple systems.
• High school diploma or GED required, ASE certification a plus .
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred .

Additional Details:

• Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote (Earth City, MO 63045).
• Occasional Saturday work required.
• Must have high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace.
