About the Role - We are searching for a full-time, high-energy, Business Development Manager who can showcase our passion for high-end design to build relationships with key accounts in our showroom in San Carlos, California.

Responsibilities - The Business Development Manager's primary responsibility is to find new projects by building the top of the sales funnel, foster relationships and provide support to ALL industry partners by sampling, stone and tile education, industry events, and project management. We coordinate sample drops efficiently, ensure effective communication within the team and with clients, and assist in project management, especially for large-scale projects, collaborating closely with other departments. Additionally, we play a vital role in qualifying new projects, striving to streamline processes and serve as a resource for clients, connecting them with the appropriate expertise within the company and with industry partners. The Business Development Manager must have the ability to identify and meet customer needs, apply design ideas to come up with creative options, and manage projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and organized, have strong communication, problem-solving skills, be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and have passion for award-winning design – all while providing superior customer service. Applicants must have experience in interior or architectural design with a proven record of building strong relationships with Designers, Architects and/or Contractors. Experience in kitchen/bath design is a plus. Da Vinci Marble is looking for someone with a strong client orientation to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Manage needs for Da Vinci's most important accounts, consisting of designers, architects, and contractors
  • Approach and collaborate with important clients on complex, multi-faceted project design plans
  • Find new projects and build the top of the sales funnel by meeting with industry partners
  • Present a pitch deck to introduce Da Vinci Marble and our value propositions to groups via Lunch & Learns
  • Work closely with the Da Vinci Marble Senior Inside Sales team to identify and strategize project opportunities. Cultivate trusted partnerships with inside team members of all levels.
  • Assess project scope, budget and timing parameters; recommend materials to meet project needs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet or exceed project timelines displaying your ability to quickly change priorities in a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Deliver excellent and timely follow-up and strive for world-class customer service
  • Reach out to clients for new products and design opportunities, including meetings at client locations
  • Maintain regular communications with clients to continue building relationships
  • Attend regular on-site Product Knowledge training sessions with Da Vinci Marble partners

Qualifications - Requirements:

  • Excellent written and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to work as a team
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, presentations and project management

Preferred Skills - Preferred, but not required:

  • Stone and tile product knowledge
  • Bay Area Design Industry Experience
  • Familiarity with kitchen and bath design
  • College degree
  • Certificate or Degree in Interior Design
