SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver with lowboy and tri-axle experience to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds GVW. Successful candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in truck driving, have a clear and safe driving record, and a willingness to learn.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Loads and unloads construction equipment as needed
• Transports loads of materials or equipment to various job sites
• Safely operates a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Properly tracks and documents activity log
• Inspects truck before and after daily trips
• Reports any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Complies with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Commercial Driver's License Class A
• 3 years of experience in previous truck driving is required
• Must have and maintain clean driving record (MVR)
• Must obtain and pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
• Must have experience with Microsoft products such as word, excel and outlook
• Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
