Description:

Solution Architecture

  • Drive multiple cloud initiatives, including advanced Kubernetes Platform development on AWS and Azure.
  • Lead cloud migration strategies and execution, ensuring smooth transitions to cloud environments.
  • Implement cloud FinOps practices to optimize costs and manage financial resources effectively.
  • Oversee containerization and orchestration solutions to enhance application deployment.
  • Ensure robust cloud security and compliance across all projects.
  • Strong networking understanding especially of the protocols operating at Layer 4 and Layer 7 of the OSI model.
  • Design and implement microservice-based container architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with designing and deploying PaaS solutions using platforms like Cloud Foundry or Heroku.
  • Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
  • Provide guidance and support on DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for integration in projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud and AI.

API Design and Microservices

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable API-based microservices.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using API Gateway, API Management, or other API management tools.
  • Experience with designing and implementing event-driven architectures using message queues like Apache Kafka or Amazon SQS.

Project Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Present bi-weekly project updates to the Senior Vice President (SVP), highlighting status and risks.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product management and engineering teams.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Support professional development and growth opportunities within the team.
