Job Description

Our client is looking for a Compliance Associate to support their growing finance and legal teams within a mission-driven organization in the financial services sector.

Location: Must live in Texas (Hybrid/Partial Remote – must be able to travel periodically to Waco, TX)

Key Job Duties:

You’ll work directly with senior leadership to manage and evolve compliance programs—ensuring alignment with ever-changing regulations and maintaining integrity across business operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Advising staff on compliance and contract matters
• Monitoring regulatory updates and communicating impact
• Overseeing state licensing for lending and servicing activities
• Reviewing marketing materials and new products for compliance
• Leading compliance training and managing contract oversight

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of relevant compliance experience, preferably in financial services
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field
• Strong understanding of consumer protection laws and regulatory environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive and analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
