Job Description

Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our medical manufacturing client in searching for a CNC Machinist (Milling) for 1st Shift and 2nd Shift positions in Billerica MA. Position is temp-to-perm with potential to convert to a permanent position after a few months of good performance.

Starting Salary: $30 based on experience

Schedule: Positions available on 1st Shift (6:30am to 3:00pm) and 2nd Shift (2:45pm to 10:45pm)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Verify conformance of parts using appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods.
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain part quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in CNC milling operations
• Ability to set up and calibrate CNC machines efficiently
• Strong understanding of tolerances and precision measurement tools
• Familiarity with CNC programming and editing
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and follow technical blueprints and specifications

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with medical manufacturing standards and certifications
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
