About Us :

Since 1913, we’ve been a leader in manufacturing of DC motors, windshield wipers, hand tools, and solenoids, and we’re just getting started. With rapid growth on the horizon, we’re looking for a CNC Set-up Operator / Lathe Operator to help keep our machines operating efficiently. If you’re experienced in CNC operation and/or lathe operation, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working with a team of awesome co-workers, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Do :

Set-up and operate conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and other machining to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.

Who You Are :

• You have 3-6 months of related experience, a related one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You have the ability to study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• You have the ability to read and interpret documents such as the Quality Plan, safety rules, operating and maintenance proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. You can apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to your every-day work.
• You love solving problems
• You are able to work well with others and enjoy collaborating to solve difficult problems
• You’re quick to ask for help or direction when you don’t know what to do next to solve a problem
• You are reliable and motivated to do a great job every day

Required experience

• 3-6 months of related experience
• Certificate from a related 1-year program in a college or technical school
• Or, and equivalent combination of education and experience.
