About This Role

Our client is at the forefront of expanding next-generation hyperscale AI data center infrastructure across the United States. This is a rare opportunity for motivated construction professionals to lead large-scale, technically complex projects that will define the next era of digital and AI capability.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager specializing in Tenant Improvements to lead complex, mission-critical projects that enhance and optimize advanced technical facilities.

In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of tenant-requested upgrades and modifications, ensuring every project meets technical, operational, and performance requirements while maintaining compliance and tenant satisfaction. You’ll collaborate closely with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Manage end-to-end tenant improvement construction projects within data centers, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

Tenant Relations: Act as the main liaison for tenants to understand their improvement requests and align them with facility standards and operational requirements.

Design & Execution: Review tenant requirements, coordinate design development, and oversee the construction and installation of upgrades.

Collaboration: Partner with contractors, engineers, architects, and internal operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all tenant improvement work meets local building codes, safety standards, and lease obligations.

Risk Management: Proactively identify potential issues or changes in project scope, communicate impacts, and implement mitigation strategies.

Reporting: Maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and milestones.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% to oversee multiple project sites as needed.

What You’ll Bring

Experience: 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, including tenant improvement or interior buildout projects for data centers or similarly complex facilities.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in industrial or commercial environments.

Project Leadership: Proven success leading high-value, multi-stakeholder construction projects under tight deadlines.

Collaboration: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Organizational Skills: Skilled at balancing multiple priorities, managing budgets, and maintaining project documentation.

Mindset: Passion for contributing to innovative, sustainable, and technology-forward infrastructure projects.

  • Comprehensive health insurance packages (HDHP and PPO), including dental and vision coverage
