Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist for a temporary position to support our legal and business functions. The ideal candidate will excel in contract review, revisions, and negotiations while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. This role is tailored for individuals with expertise in contract management and compliance, with government contracting being an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Review & Revision : Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of contracts to ensure alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and commercial/government specifications under the guidance of General Counsel.
• Draft Agreements : Create and revise contractual documents, including drafting new agreements and ensuring clarity in language and terms.
• Negotiations & Advisory : Facilitate contract negotiations with both internal partners and external parties, providing strategic advice during discussions.
• Compliance Analysis : Analyze business contracts to assess their risk, governing terms, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Employee Relations Support : Collaborate on select employee relations matters when applicable.
• Business Goals Alignment : Manage contracts to ensure they support organizational objectives and mitigate risk effectively.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in contract review, revisions, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations, including government contracting practices (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Legal or business background (preferred).

Key Focus:

This role will center on managing the organization’s most traffic-heavy legal tasks, including contract reviews, rewrites, and associated business transactions. Candidates with a specialized skill set in contract management will be prioritized to ensure an efficient and streamlined hiring process.
