We're Hiring: Cook – High-Volume, Steak-Focused Kitchen | Wichita Falls, TX

About Us Since 1992, our family-style restaurant in Wichita Falls has proudly served high-quality, made-to-order meals in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. With over 10,000 guests served monthly , we’re known for our lightning-fast ticket times, expertly grilled steaks, and unwavering consistency. We’re now looking for a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team and help us maintain the standard our guests have come to expect.

Position Overview This is a performance-based role supporting our current grill operations and preparing for future staff transitions. The ideal candidate is confident on the line, thrives under pressure, and knows their way around a steak.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items to order, especially steaks cooked to precise temperatures
• Maintain quality and consistency during high-volume service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Contribute to a team culture built on speed, quality, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• 6 months to 1 year of grill or line cook experience
• Proven ability to cook steaks to order without cutting into meat or relying on thermometers
• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate (must be obtained before employment)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team (preferred)
• Thick skin and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-energy kitchen (preferred)
• Familiarity with steak doneness and grill station operations (preferred)

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available during peak hours: • Friday nights • Saturday nights • Sunday lunch
• Additional shifts vary and include both days and nights
