Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Digital Designer (who also likes to write short form copy!) for a Financial institution.

You’ll join the in-house agency team to design and write copy for digital communications channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications.. This is a 3 month contract opportunity. The role is located in Westwood, MA and is Hybrid (in office 3 days/week).

Digital Designer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative directors and teams to deliver on-brand, user-focused creative on time.
• Work in an fast-paced environment to produce personalized, on-brand digital communications.
• Design visuals and write short-form copy for email, SMS, and push notifications.
• Present design concepts and explain how they align with customer goals using sketches and comps.
• Adapt to feedback while proposing new ideas to push marketing innovation within brand standards.

Digital Designer Qualifications:

• 3+ years of digital design and copywriting experience; online portfolio required.
• Proficiency in Jira, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office; willing to learn ZMP/Visual Editor and Relay.
• Quick to learn and apply brand and graphic standards.
• Ability to analyze customer feedback and metrics to inform designs.
• Strong attention to design principles (typography, layout, color) and detail, with a solid grasp of grammar and style guidelines.
