District Quality and Safety Officer needed to oversee 2 community hospitals! Bonus Incentives, and Relocation!

Responsible for providing strategic oversight and guidance by leading the development and implementation of quality programs and initiatives; serving as a leader and expert on clinical quality management programs and initiatives across services lines and facilities. Proactively monitoring performance metrics and performance improvement activities; championing and overseeing the use of evidence-based guidelines and criteria to optimize clinical outcomes; directing accreditation, licensing, and regulatory activities and ensuring compliance in all applicable settings, including compliance with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements; partnering with and directing medical staff to support peer review, practitioner performance review, and oversight processes; and developing, evaluating, and managing ongoing improvement systems to reduce care delivery risk and medical errors.

Qualifications:

• California RN license Required
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in clinical and management roles in a health plan or multi-faceted health care system and multi-provider settings.
• Masters degree in Business, Health Care, Public Administration, or directly related field AND Minimum seven (7) years of health care experience or a directly related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
• Minimum nine (9) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience delivering training programs.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in clinical setting, health care administration, or a directly related field.
• Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate within 24 months of hire
• CA RN license required
• RN HRO Training CPHQ or other Quality Certification
