Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Doggie Daycare and Boarding Driver/Ranch Support. This role is crucial in providing the highest level of care and service to our canine clients and their owners. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting dogs to and from our ranch, ensuring their comfort and security during transit, and providing essential care services at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive to clients' homes to pick up and drop off dogs, adhering to a predetermined schedule.
  • Secure dogs safely in the transit vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Document any items (food, medication, toys, etc.) that the dogs bring with them and ensure they are returned accordingly.
  • Upon arrival at the ranch, unload dogs and introduce them to their temporary home in a calm and reassuring manner.
  • Provide essential care services, including bathing, nature walks, nail trimming, and teeth brushing.
  • Supervise dogs in the yard, ensuring they are safe, happy, and engaged in activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the transit vehicle and any used facilities at the ranch.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their pets, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their care and wellbeing.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle dogs of all sizes and breeds.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in animal care, Teaching children, working with youth or a similar role is preferred but not required.

Benefits

Salary & Benefits:

  • Probationary Pay: $550.00 per week, moving to $600.00 per week post-probation.
  • Monthly raises of 1.5% post-probation, capping at $650.00 per week.
