We are a well established commercial drywall subcontractor based in Southwest Chicago! We are actively looking for an experienced drywall estimator to join our team.
Please send resume to ciera.mayes@cybercoders.com. Key Responsibilities - Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall projects
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and bids for clients
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to determine project requirements and timelines
- Maintain and update cost databases and pricing information
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing when necessary
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Qualifications - 1+ year commercial drywall estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of EIFS, Stucco, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling systems (preferred)
