A global Automotive supplier is seeking an Entry Level Sales Representative / Account Manager to join their team in the Florence, KY area.

A bachelor’s degree is required, and minimum of 1-2 years of industrial or mechanical component sales experience is preferred; however, it is not a requirement. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.

We are looking for someone who would like to learn about the Automotive industry, enjoys meeting clients, and attending trading shows.

Responsibilities for Entry Level Sales Representative / Account Manager:

• Track and maintain inventory levels, purchasing, and shipping or other records
• Contact customers/suppliers frequently to answer questions, resolve general problems, and provide/receive general information
• Perform month-end closing reconciliation, vendor payment reports, accounts receivables reconciliation, internal transfers reconciliation, and provide audit support
• Partner with customers to gather information on their needs, and offer tailored solutions
• Consult with several levels of decision-makers and buying influences to understand customers’ business challenges and supply chain goals
• Maintain a strong commercial presence in the local marketplace, including participating or presenting at regional events
• Collaborate with sales team to create and execute an implementation plan to effectively transition relationship management duties
• Assist operations staff and for maximization of efficiency and profitability
• Collaborate with the executive team to establish sales goals

Qualifications for Entry Level Sales Representative /Account Manager:

• 1-2 years of industrial sales experience (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• Ability to go on nationwide business trips
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
