JOB DESCRIPTION

A client in Mesa, AZ is looking to bring on a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This will be a contract position, working onsite 7:00am - 4:00pm OR 8:00am - 5:00pm. This individual will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and services to all building and/or production equipment. On the day to day, responsibilities can also include assisting in improvements and providing customer service requests to all onsite personnel.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment is maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions and on schedule.
• Filling out all needed documentation of maintenance performed.
• Inspect equipment and systems to ensure proper function.
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly or provide the needed repairs to return equipment to proper operations.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or situations.
• Ensure all service tickets and requests from onsite personnel are attended to in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all local and federal safety regulations, standards, and company policy.
• Assist where needed in making improvements to any and all spaces onsite.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent; Trade School graduates PREFERRED
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities/ maintenance
• Proficient with hand tools and troubleshooting equipment failure analysis
• Mechanical & electrical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, troubleshooting of all equipment, reading schematics/ blueprints, drywall or painting experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite and/or CMMS
