Objective / Engagement Overview
Build a managed service team of lab technicians to work with our team in our Analytical Chemistry Lab in Cupertino. Lab technicians will work with engineers to provide general lab services and perform straightforward material analyses. The testing lab is a fast-paced, hands-on work environment where technicians are expected to be self-motivated and able to multitask. Reliable and consistent data reporting is required to ensure testing integrity.
In Scope
Lab Services:

Receives experiment plan and SOPs from engineers.
Prepares samples for analysis and executes data collection.
Compiles data, documents findings, and provides a summary to engineers for interpretation and conclusions.
Skills
B.S. degree in Science or Engineering preferred (Material Science, Chemistry, etc.).
Knowledge of organic, inorganic, and analytical chemistry.
Familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques, including:
X-ray fluorescence (XRF)
Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)
Ion Chromatography (IC)
Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS)
Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)
Experience in chemical handling and sample preparation for the above-mentioned wet chemistry techniques.
Knowledge of safe work practices in a lab environment and experience working around solvents, cryogens, and corrosive materials.
Assumptions
Vendor team will receive direction/course correction from vendor management only.
Vendor team will not have access to production data.
