Summary

In the role of Gate Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gates and related systems.

Duties

  • Install gates & related products according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Basic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of gates & related products.
  • Perform preventive maintenance services.
  • Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfactory service.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proven experience working with garage doors and customers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy
  • Reliable transportation to and from your base office location
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday
  • Overtime, weekend, and/or on-call as needed
  • Some service jobs may require occasional out-of-town travel

Work Conditions

  • Non-climate-controlled environment – potentially working in all weather conditions.
  • Frequently sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.
