General Manager – Commercial Construction

An established company serving the commercial construction industry is seeking a General Manager to lead and grow one of their business units. The role is ideal for a seasoned commercial construction leader who thrives at the intersection of strategic vision and hands-on operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the P&L and full operational oversight of the business unit.
• Develop and implement a growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives to scale the business unit.
• Build strategic relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, and key market influencers
• Oversee sales, operations, and project execution to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global leadership and product development teams
• Drive leadership development and a culture of accountability and performance

You Bring:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in commercial construction or building materials
• Proven success in scaling a business unit, division, or market presence
• A strong grasp of project-based sales cycles, margin management, and client engagement
• Ability to lead diverse teams across sales, operations, and support functions
• Experience working with or for global organizations is a plus
