IT Support Specialist

Type: Contract to Hire

SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-demand support team. As remote work has become the norm, our internal and external user base has grown significantly—leading to a high volume of support tickets and calls. You’ll be joining a tight-knit, 4-person team handling a wide range of IT tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Act as the frontline for support calls, tickets, and emails from both internal and external users
• Triage, assign, and manage tickets in a high-volume queue environment
• Provide phone-based troubleshooting for home users facing connectivity and hardware issues
• Perform hardware setups for new hires, including laptops, printers, and connectivity devices
• Roll out collector workstations and ensure proper setup
• Document support interactions clearly and effectively
• Help transition the team into Jira for ticket tracking and knowledge documentation

WHO YOU ARE

• Comfortable managing multiple calls and tickets at once
• Patient and professional on the phone, especially with users facing basic tech issues
• Organized and proactive when it comes to queue management and assigning tasks
• Interested in technology and eager to learn new systems and processes
• Healthcare experience or familiarity with healthcare IT environments is a plus
• No previous experience with Jira is required—we’ll help you get up to speed
• You have onsite tech support or hardware rollout experience
• An understanding of basic networking/internet troubleshooting for home environments
