Job Description

POSITION: Inside Sales Representative

LOCATION: Nashville, TN office. Our organization operates on a regular in-office hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Sell the value of content services.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls using call center software as part of the sales process (60-80 calls per day).
  • Reach out to customers through cold calling.
  • Provide high-level customer care, as defined by management.
  • Maintain call quality standards in all customer interactions.
  • Validate and update lead information.
  • Use strong customer service skills to listen to customer concerns and address their needs.
  • Regularly update internal systems with accurate account information and supporting documentation.
  • Generate and qualify leads through tele-qualification and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrate best practices in sales performance and behavior.
  • Uphold core values, cultivating a culture of diversity and inclusion.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in sales and a call center environment preferred. Familiarity with database management required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills to understand and effectively address customer needs.
  • Skilled in building relationships with a wide variety of individuals on a daily basis.
  • Confidence and self-assurance in successfully calling customers to close sales.
  • Experience in a transactional sales role and selling an intangible product.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Inside Sales, B2B Sales experience.
  • Adaptable to business changes.
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks or projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9, Oracle, or comparable call center technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Attention to detail.

This position pays a base salary (typically $52k) plus monthly commissions.
