Instructional Designer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging, outcomes-driven learning solutions that support business performance. This role will be 80% focused on instructional design and 20% on project management and cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design (80%)

• Create learning objectives, design documents, storyboards, and other instructional design deliverables.
• Ensure learning solutions are aligned with defined business outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather accurate job and task information.
• Develop learning experiences using project-based templates as needed.
• Utilize standard eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Presenter, and Adobe Captivate.
• Test and debug deliverables to ensure quality and functionality.
• Partner with Learning Strategy Senior Managers to conduct needs analysis and support instructional strategy.

Project Management & Communication (20%)

• Collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and business partners.
• Manage project deliverables and proactively communicate progress and milestones.
• Review and edit content to align with company standards for instructional quality and soundness.
• Apply strong writing and communication skills to support learning development.
• Assist with interviewing, selecting, and onboarding contractors and team members.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design and eLearning development.
• Proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Presenter, and Adobe Captivate.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and quality assurance practices.
