Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Junior Web Developer (Wordpress/Shopify) based in New Braunfels, TX. The role involves tasks related to back-end and front-end web development, programming, and web design, with work from home flexibility.

In this role, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for designing new websites. You will also be required to make adjustments to current clients' sites and provide maintenance support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design new websites using Wordpress and Shopify based on the specific needs of our clients and team process of development
• Update and adjust current clients' websites to ensure they remain functional and up-to-date.
• Perform routine site maintenance as needed, fixing any bugs or issues that arise.
• Work closely with our team to implement new features and improve the overall functionality of our clients' sites.
• Ensure all websites are optimized for search engines and adhere to on-page SEO best practices.
• Adhere to and uphold the highest standards of compliance for data privacy and protection.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Wordpress/ Shopify Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in using Elementor in Wordpress to design websites.
• Understanding of on-page SEO principles and best practices.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Understanding of CRO and positive
• Ability to project manage and work to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Part Time to Potential Full Time with Fast Growing Digital Agency

Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract

Schedule:

• 20hrs Per Week
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Experience:

• WordPress: 2-4 years (Required)
• Shopify: 2-4 years (Preferred)
• Work Location: Remote/Hybrid
