Job Description

We are hiring for a great client in the publishing industry seeking a Marketing Manager to lead strategic initiatives, enhance brand presence, and drive new revenue opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity on-site in Irvine, CA for a marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to expand revenue streams, including online directories and new advertising opportunities.
  • Design and execute lead-generation initiatives to support sales efforts.
  • Create tailored marketing packages for high-value clients and partnerships.
  • Oversee all in-house marketing programs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Build and manage an email marketing database for targeted outreach and engagement.
  • Strengthen social media presence across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Oversee content creation for websites, newsletters, email campaigns, and direct mail initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales, development, and management teams to align marketing strategies with company objectives.
  • Update and enhance marketing collateral, promotional materials, and annual marketing plans.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies and position the brand effectively.
  • Increase website traffic and engagement through SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and marketing service providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or brand management.
  • Proficiency in online marketing, database marketing, and SEO best practices.
  • Strong writing and content development skills.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
  • Experience with website management, WordPress, and basic HTML preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and refine marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends based on project needs.
