Job Title: Medical Assistant $30 Per Hour

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051

Start Date: 10/13/2025

Duration :- 11 weeks (with possible extension )

Hours Per Week: 40

Hours Per Day: 8

Schedule Notes:

• Local candidates only (no travelers at this time)

Position #1:

• Mon 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tue 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wed 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Thu 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Fri 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Position #2:

• Mon 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tue 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wed 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Thu 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Fri 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to model Froedtert’s core values .
• Competence in vaccine administration, blood pressure, ear flushes, vitals, rooming, and EPIC EMR usage.
• Manager will directly call candidates for interview → ensure voicemail is set up and not full .

Preferred:

• 1+ year of healthcare experience.

🎓 Education & Certifications

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of ONE of the following:
• Medical Assistant Program
• EMT-Basic course
• On-the-job trained MA with at least 1 year of healthcare experience
• MA Apprentice program completion

Required Certification:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-approved equivalent)

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Room patients using standard protocols to ensure optimal flow.
• Perform clinical tasks: point-of-care testing, vital signs, vaccine administration, BP checks, ear flushes, phlebotomy, and assisting in procedures.
• Handle administrative duties: medication refills, prior authorizations, MyChart messages, and medical paperwork within standard turnaround times.
• Assist with scheduling support and referral tracking.
• Provide patients with educational materials, instructions, and After Visit Summaries (AVS).
• Document all patient care accurately and professionally in EPIC EMR .
• Perform pre-visit planning and registry management.
• Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure a safe patient care environment.
• Support inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Obtain appropriate consent documentation for applicable procedures (within MA scope).
• Float and cross-train across sites as needed to support clinic operations.
• Escalate compliance or safety risks promptly to care team or leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
