Job Description

We are seeking Medical Lab Technician to join our team in a cancer clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hematology, excellent communication skills, and be ASCP or AMT certified.

Job: Medical lab scientist

Duration – 181 days (possible extension)

Location: Spokane WA

Shift/Work Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F

Eligibility:

  • U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position

Requirements:

  • ASCP or AMT Certification (Required)
  • Hematology lab experience (Required)
  • Strong communication & people skills (Patient/Provider Facing)
  • Comfortable with slide reviews & lab testing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hematology tests in a cancer clinic lab
  • Conduct urine dipsticks and hema glucose tests
  • Review slides and provide accurate test results
  • Maintain a consistent work pace (patients every 15 minutes)

Education:

  • Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Bachelor’s degree required
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Associate’s degree required
