Community First Credit Union is seeking a dynamic, results-driven and experienced External Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced external mortgage loan officer with a proven track record in mortgage sales, established referral partners, and a passion for helping others achieve financial success.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture strong referral networks with real estate agents, builders, title companies, and your own sphere of influence
• Lead mortgage seminars and events to showcase Community First’s lending options
• Prospect through networking, marketing, and community outreach to generate leads
• Deliver personalized service to borrowers, from pre-approval to closing
• Act as a trusted advisor to homebuyers, helping them understand financing options and the mortgage process
• Partner with branch teams to support their lending efforts and member relationships
• Ensure compliance and quality in all stages of the loan process
• Maintain active, ongoing communication with members and referral partners

What You Bring:

• A strong book of business and deep roots in the Jacksonville, Florida real estate and lending community
• A proven track record in mortgage sales with consistent results
• Stellar communication skills and an ability to build trust quickly
• NMLS registration and a solid understanding of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines
• A commitment to ethical conduct and an exceptional member experience
