Griffin Armament is seeking an energetic, positive, and experienced team player join our management team in our Watertown Wisconsin facility. For 20 years we have provided some of the most high-performance products in our space to customers from all walks of life including law enforcement, military, sportsman, recreational, & competitive shooters. We are a vertically integrated company with a strong passion for state-of-the-art American manufacturing and armed with the best customers in the industry.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a talented, motivated, experienced sales professional who has an organic interest and passion for managing sales people, programs, and contributing to overall company health by driving cash flow increases. You seek a stable, respected, career position in the firearms industry.

Your personality traits:

  • The ability to consistently track and monitor the sales funnel from inbound PO's to outbound orders and billing. Able to manage programs, projects, and personnel, and build on them to adapt to an ever changing market.
  • Strong interest in managing sales in a way that keeps net profit healthy and production throughput strong and stable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both inside (the company) and outside (customer base)
  • Respect for upper management, peers, and subordinates
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • An ability to take action whenever and wherever needed to ensure company growth and health
  • A positive team work attitude that focus’ on meeting company objectives / directives

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Formally trained in an educational environment on business management (BS from a 4 yr business school)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience at regional or national level
  • Experience in managing, hiring, and training peers and subordinates.
  • Experience in product sales and operations of companies in product sales
  • Travel professional pertaining to trade shows, customer visits, industry symposiums, etc.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Tracking company financials pertaining to sales and invoicing
  • Managing outside and inside sales staff
  • Managing price lists and products lists quarterly or as needed
  • Oversight and co-management of parallel departments in the sales stream such as fulfillment and shipping.
  • Updating B2B contracts and supportive materials for sales programs and relationships
  • Calling on B2B accounts for courtesy calls and quality checks
  • Direct sales management of a percentage of direct customers
  • Assisting with trade show and event management for sales specific events
