Job Description

Part Time Night Audit Friday and Saturday Night 11 pm- 7 am

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service by responding quickly in greeting guests and responding to their requests
  • Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
  • Verify that all charges posted from the POS Software and reached the correct guest folios.
  • Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
  • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
  • Summarizes results of daily operations.
  • Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
  • Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures and acts as Manager on Duty
  • Perform guest transactions; balance accounting reports, process reservations and credit cards.
  • Handle cash; make changes and balance cash drawer using proper cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain key security following procedures for programming key cards for length of stay only and distributing additional keys only to guests with proper I.D.
  • Report all incidents or occurrences of an unusual nature that could result in potential loss, damage, injury or other liability to individuals or company property
  • Promptly answer the telephone using exceptional telephone courtesy and professionalism when receiving or transferring calls.
  • Maintain clean, neat and professional appearance of front desk and lobby area.
  • Respond to guest concerns by assessing the situation and extending assistance to resolve the issue promptly.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

*Skills, Educational background and experience:*

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of hotel front desk experience, other hotel experience or experience in a customer service environment.
  • Experience in PEP system preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Works well independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of computer and math skills.'

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
