Dayton Precision Aerospace (DPA) is seeking a Non- CDL Driver. We are a low volume production shop making details for aerospace, medical laboratory, and defense industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aerospace components and materials to and from various locations with a focus on precision and safety. Responsibilities as a Non- CDL Driver:
- Safely transport components and materials to designated locations.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of sensitive and high-value products.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations to guarantee the safety of materials and personnel.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the reliability of transportation equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and invoices.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate efficient transportation processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing Dayton Precision Aerospace in a professional manner.
- Ability to operate a forklift as required.
- Maintaining good housekeeping on the shop floor.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a non- CDL driver, with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards for transporting sensitive materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of transportation equipment.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Attention to detail and commitment to precision in handling sensitive components.
