Piedmont Columbus Regional dates back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small building on the Chattahoochee River. Piedmont Columbus Regional consists of two hospitals, a cancer center, and over 35 physician practice locations. Piedmont Columbus Regional joined the Piedmont family in March 2018. Midtown Campus is a 583-bed, acute care hospital and features a regional Level II trauma center, one of only six perinatal centers in the state with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is the only Piedmont facility with a Children’s Hospital.
