Job Description



Scope of Position

Hours: Monday - Friday 730am-430pm

This role works to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service to our external customers as well as our other Expeditors offices.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build Operations/Industry Knowledge
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service
  • Vendor Relations
  • Understand all the elements of the our operating procedures and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customer´s instructions and expectations.
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Accurate and Timely Billing
  • Continues annual self-development program
  • Understand department process flow, looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
  • Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to Detail
  • Fluent in English
  • Any import transportation experience a plus

Additional Information



Expected base salary: $22/hr to $24/hr

May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.
