Job Title: Operations & Materials Planning Specialist

Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Materials Planning Specialist to support production planning, materials management, and cross-functional coordination. This role is key to maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring inventory availability, and facilitating smooth processes across production, quality, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating the monthly and quarterly production plans .
• Coordinate inventory forecasts for RMAs, trials, and proof of concept needs.
• Maintain production schedules in the Director’s absence.
• Manage e-Reqs/MRs for materials, equipment, and services; track and escalate pending approvals.
• Chair the weekly Materials Review Board (MRB) ; drive closure of pending MRB actions across sites.
• Oversee stock rotation validations , notify Finance of verified returns, and coordinate unaccepted stock disposition with Sales.
• Collaborate with Customer Support on RMAs and hardware replacements.
• Manage scrap process : schedule pick-up, ensure proper disposal, and submit certificates to Accounting.
• Monitor and drive supplier quality improvements , set and report on Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) .
• Support end-of-month/quarter/year shipping targets in alignment with sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations support .
• Strong understanding of inventory management, MRB, and ERP systems .
• Excellent cross-functional coordination and communication skills.
• Experience with supplier quality metrics and logistics operations.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
