The International Vision Center is seeking a skilled Optician to join our dedicated team of eye care professionals. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in helping our patients select the perfect eyewear and ensuring that each pair of glasses or contact lenses is fitted correctly. Your expertise will contribute to the overall patient experience and satisfaction, making a meaningful impact on their vision health.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in choosing frames, lenses, and contact lenses based on their vision needs and personal style.
• Provide fitting and adjustment services for eyewear.
• Interpret optical prescriptions and recommend appropriate optical products.
• Educate patients about lens options, including coatings and tints, and their benefits.
• Maintain inventory of frames and lenses, ensuring the display area is organized and visually appealing.
• Process orders and maintain accurate patient records within the system.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an optician or eyewear retail role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of optical products and services, including lens designs and fitting techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to provide precise measurements and adjustments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including Saturday, as needed.
