K-9 Divine Dog Ranch is located in Nanjemoy, Maryland. All jobs are performed onsite in Nanjemoy, Maryland.

At K-9 Divine Dog Ranch, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, fun, and cage-free environment for dogs while their owners are away. Our facility is designed to ensure that every dog feels at home, with plenty of space to play, relax, and socialize. We are passionate about animal care and are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Overnight Dog Handler.

Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Overnight Dog Handler to oversee the well-being of our canine guests during the night. This role is crucial in ensuring that all dogs are comfortable, safe, and happy throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise dogs in a cage-free environment overnight.
• Maintain a constant supply of clean, fresh water indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the facility.
• Respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the night.
• Communicate effectively with the day staff to provide updates on any overnight occurrences.

Professional Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred.
• Passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Desire to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 lbs with no restrictions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• The Ability to Multi Task & Adapt to Unscheduled Events (Just Roll with It!)
• High Energy Personality & Positivity (Drama Doesn’t Work for Us or the Dogs!)
• Punctuality, Organization, Reliability (Since we work with Live Animals, we cannot work with Flakiness!)
• We are looking for someone who can communicate with us clearly and tell us what they need to achieve success.
