Job Description

Overview

Manage the flow of design projects from start to finish for the In-House Design Team. You'll work closely with marketing and creative teams to assign work, track progress, and ensure everything stays on schedule. This role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination (60%)
• Take in new design requests from marketing
• Assign projects to designers based on availability and skills
• Lead weekly status meetings
• Track deliverables, approvals, and timelines
• Project Management (20%)
• Manage your own set of design projects
• Communicate updates to marketing and creative teams
• Review final designs to ensure accuracy and alignment with the brief
• Process Improvement (15%)
• Work with leadership to improve how design work flows through the team
• Recommend updates to systems and tools to make things run smoother
• System Knowledge (5%)
• Stay current on tools, people, and processes connected to the design workflow

Role Scope

• Projects Managed: ~500–550 per year
• Team Size: 4-person in-house design team

What You Need

• Strong organizational and project tracking skills
• Clear and professional communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Experience assigning creative projects and understanding team strengths
• Comfortable working independently and with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS in Graphic Arts, Printing, Packaging, or similar experience
• Experience: 3+ years in design, production, or the CPG industry
