Packing Associate (Full-time)

Location: Hickory, NC 28601

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift (Weekends as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Prepare and stage materials for production
• Perform inventory control and cycle counting
• Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Experience in fast-paced environments, such as restaurants (e.g., servers, bartenders), is a plus
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, handheld barcode scanners, and tablets
• Strong materials handling skills
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Stock management and inventory control
• Package handling expertise
• Materials handling proficiency
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for warehouse safety
• Ability to follow instructions from warehouse leads and supervisors
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a drug screening test
• Must be 21 or older
• Must be able to commute to Hickory, NC 28601
