About the Job:

Oregon Occupational Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work alongside our team of experienced Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and rehabilitation services to our patients.

• Collaborate with Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities aimed at improving strength, mobility, and function.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques for injury prevention.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatment and progress.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of treatment areas and equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education to improve skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards for patient care and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records.
• CPR certification.
