Primary Care Physician (PCP)

A Primary Care Physician is needed in Albany, GA

This is with a non-profit organization that has been in business for over 40 years providing care to the underserved and uninsured patients of the community.

Salary and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $265,000.
• Billable Hours Pay Model (Rate based on years of experience)
• Relocation Assistance (10K for out of state, 5k for in state)
• Health & Dental Insurance ($500 is paid by employer)

• $1500/Month Stipend for 3rd year Residency Candidates

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages, including preventive care, wellness exams, and health education.
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team - Work closely with nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, care coordinators, and specialists to ensure patients receive holistic care. Often addressing both medical and social determinants of health.
• 20 Patients a day - Outpatient
• On Call – Once every 6 months
• No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach in primary care
• Clear and Active Medical License in the State of Georgia (or willing to obtain if out of area provider)
• M.D. or D.O

• Must have Board Certification or the willingness to obtain.
• Internal Medicine Physicians will be considered
• New Grads will be considered as well.
