We are seeking a Production Operations Lead to support strategic manufacturing initiatives and ensure smooth coordination across various production functions. This leadership role is instrumental in aligning front-line execution with broader operational goals and promoting a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment. The position includes coaching team members, facilitating workflow, and contributing to performance management and process optimization.

This individual will help drive productivity and quality across the floor by partnering with supervisors and department heads to improve daily outcomes and long-term efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational alignment between production teams and management by reinforcing goals, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Contribute to setting departmental priorities and performance expectations.
• Provide guidance and structure for day-to-day activities across multiple functional areas within the production environment.
• Collaborate with floor leaders to promote consistent execution and employee engagement.
• Identify workflow challenges and assist in resolving performance barriers.
• Communicate updates and relevant information across team levels.
• Contribute to data tracking, team metrics, and reporting efforts.
• Reinforce adherence to company policies and assist with performance development initiatives.
• Help support employee onboarding, mentoring, and overall experience on the production floor.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years in a production coordination or leadership support role.
• Experience supporting teams of 10 or more in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Exposure to CNC machinery or mechanical tooling is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic production setting.
• Motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office tools.

Physical and Environmental Expectations

• Frequent movement throughout the production area, including walking, standing, and interaction with team members.
• Occasional reaching, bending, and light physical labor may be required.
• Environment includes moderate-to-loud noise and proximity to active machinery.
• Required PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes.

Location and Compensation

This position will be based out of Indian Trail, NC . This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire.
