Production Operator

We are working with a meat stick/meat snack manufacturer based in Florida, that is about to undergo a period of significant growth! They are looking for highly driven Production Operators to provide support to production and packaging in their processing facility! All Production Operators will be trained on and rotated through a variety of positions. They will be responsible for such tasks as: break relief, preparing ingredients, packaging, case packing, product inspection, supplying lines with materials, performing sanitation, keeping accurate records and similar supporting duties.

Location : Greater Ocala, FL area

Job Responsibilities:

● Start, adjust, and regulate equipment such as grinders, stuffers, ovens, stick cutters, wrapping equipment

● Become familiar with the set up and operation of all required equipment.

● Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as rubbing, binding or plugging up, and report malfunctions to the Team Leader or Maintenance.

● Complete Sanitation as needed.

● Work in a team-based environment.

● Become familiar with Quality programs as outlined in QRMP such as GMP’s, Traceability, HACCP, Allergens, CCP, hold process and verifying raw ingredients.

● Perform other duties as directed by plant leadership as needed for efficient operations.

● Train new employees once you become proficient.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

● 2+ years of previous manufacturing experience preferred.

● High School Diploma/GED.

● Must be dedicated to personal safety and food safety.

● Must be a dedicated hard worker, who shows up on time and is a key member of our fast-growing team.
