Infrastructure Project Manager - PMP Certification Required

We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with 8 years of experience for a long-term opportunity with a local government agency. This person will manage projects focused on Data Classification, Isilon Storage Management, Managed FTP Implementation, DNS Cleanup , and OneDrive Implementation.

This position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office in Columbus, OH. Candidates must be located in the Columbus, OH metro area to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects focused on optimizing and improving technical systems and processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and project leadership.
• Experience managing projects focused on one or more of the following: Data Classification, Isilon Storage Management, Managed FTP Implementation, DNS Cleanup , and/or One Drive Implementation
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• PMP certification is required

Preferred

• Experience working with State, Local, or Federal Government Agencies. Tax department would be ideal
