Position Overview
An QHSE advisor is a professional responsible for ensuring compliance with company health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems by identifying potential risks, implementing preventive measures, conducting investigations, providing training, and advising management on best practices to minimize hazards and maintain high standards across a workplace or project, all while adhering to relevant legislation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and assess risks associated with work activities.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety concerns to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Assist in developing and maintaining HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they are effectively implemented across the organization.
Deliver safety training programs to employees on various HSEQ topics, including emergency response procedures.
Monitor adherence to relevant health and safety regulations, environmental laws, and quality standards.
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with HSEQ standards and generate reports on findings and recommendations.
Effectively communicate HSEQ issues to management, employees, and other stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to enhance HSEQ performance and implement improvements across the organization.

Work environment:
An HSEQ advisor may work primarily in an office setting, but will frequently visit work sites to conduct inspections, investigations, and provide on-site guidance to project teams.
