Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

The  NICU RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.  The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements: 

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experiencr
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Neonatal Nursing certification preferred
