Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care to join our Enterostomal Therapy Department in Silver Spring, MD . This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week) , allowing you to provide specialized wound care while maintaining work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in wound management and hold a Wound Care Certification (WCC) . This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with healthcare policies, protocols, and best practices.
Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
Accurately document and communicate patient conditions.
Serve as the primary care coordinator across multiple disciplines for seamless, patient-centered care.
Carry out physician and nursing orders promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and support discharge planning needs.
Requirements:
Active RN license (Maryland or compact state).
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
Wound Care Certification (WCC) required.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
