Job Title: SEO Consultant

Location (city, state): Beverly Hills, CA - 5 days onsite

Compensation: $50-65/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEO Consultant to partner with a luxury retail brand during a critical domain migration project. The consultant will benchmark current SEO performance, safeguard organic equity, and ensure long-term search growth. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive audits, developing migration strategies, guiding technical implementation, and monitoring performance. This role requires an expert in enterprise SEO with a proven track record of executing successful migrations for large-scale, content-rich websites. It will start as a 3-6 month contract and requires onsite presence in Los Angeles 5 days per week.

Typical Day to Day (Tasks & Responsibilities):

• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits across technical, on-page, and off-page elements
• Benchmark key SEO metrics (traffic, rankings, crawl stats, backlinks, etc.)
• Define URL mapping and redirect strategies
• Collaborate with internal marketing, engineering, and product teams on rollout execution
• Provide technical specifications for redirects, structured data, and tracking
• Monitor migration results and deliver performance reports and growth recommendations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with a strong emphasis on technical SEO for large-scale sites.
• Proven track record of managing domain or site migrations without loss of organic visibility.
• Strong understanding of 301/302 redirects, canonicalization, crawl budget, structured data, hreflang, and mobile-first indexing.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Botify, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.
