Job Description

The Excalibur Group is currently seeking a Senior Consultant for a  local contract in  Washington, DC.

** Will be subject to a background check prior to employment. **

 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing authoritative guidance on program, policy, and operational challenges.
• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to support enterprise-level transformation initiatives
• Leads in providing unique functional expertise to interpret complex requirements, managing a team of functional experts as needed.
• Possesses comprehensive technical knowledge of requirements.
• Directs the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of tasks, and drives strategic decision-making to ensure client satisfaction.
• Advise on risk management, regulatory compliance, and emerging industry trends impacting homeland security and emergency management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education :  Bachelor’s degree
• If you do not have a Bachelor's degree, the following may be substituted: 
  • High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in emergency management, homeland security, public safety, or related field preferred.
• Proven expertise advising executive leadership on strategy, policy, and organizational transformation.

PAY

• $45/hour
