This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Web Developer in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely as part of a highly collaborative, international team, delivering high-quality web solutions for multiple clients. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing frontend and backend applications, ensuring they are responsive, scalable, and secure. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, user-friendly web experiences. This role allows you to apply your expertise across the full stack, contribute to system improvements, mentor junior developers, and continuously refine development workflows while staying updated on evolving technologies, including AI-driven tools.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize clean, scalable frontend and backend code for web applications.
• Translate design and business requirements into responsive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences.
• Implement advanced functionality, including custom integrations, dynamic content, and complex interfaces.
• Ensure performance, reliability, SEO, accessibility, and compliance with best practices.
• Manage ongoing maintenance, system improvements, migrations, and codebase updates.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate across teams, participate in project planning, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional web development experience, preferably in multi-client or agency environments.
• Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue/Angular, SCSS/Tailwind, responsive and cross-browser development.
• Strong backend experience with PHP and WordPress.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar), API integrations, migrations, Linux/CLI, and backend performance optimization.
• Knowledge of hosting environments, deployments, Git, Docker, networking, SSL, and email infrastructure.
• Familiarity with development best practices: security, testing/QA, monitoring, documentation, and scalability concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; Latin America-based.
